My parents are in town for the weekend, and we went for a walk on the beach. Just down from Mickler's Landing, we came across this fierce looking Ghost Crab (Ocypodequadrata). Check out those peepers!

"Filatore" was originally created as a way to track the adventures of an Italian deployment back in 2006 (Filatore=Spinner in Italian). Since then, it's morphed a few times, and after a period of relative dormancy, will document our urban existence over the next year.
