We went out into the garden today, and found that the blueberry bush had been stripped clean. Most of the beans were gone, and the poinsettia bushes (see Jan 15, image #15) that we so painstakingly nursed through the winter had been reduced to stubs. The culprit? The muddy tracks of the Whitetail Deer (Odocoileus virginianus) were all around.
