I'm sure the posts will range across a number of important subjects, answering serious questions about the history & future of Afghanistan, America's foreign involvement AND pressing questions such as "What is a Naval Officer doing in a landlocked country?" and "Why are blankets called 'afghans'?" The Biggest Change of All
There have been many changes in the last 18 months, none of which were expected or especially welcome at the time. But in the end, the most pressing and real change occurred in early March, when I was recalled to Active Duty in the Navy for 365 days.
