A teen girl band plays at the OC Youth Expo and it reminded us of our friend, Jess Richmond, a teen band member back in her younger days. We love her song "flexible fabric, bandaid!" and wish we could have seen her on stage too.

"Filatore" was originally created as a way to track the adventures of an Italian deployment back in 2006 (Filatore=Spinner in Italian). Since then, it's morphed a few times, and been relatively dormant over the last year. Currently, it's the source of latest information about my 2012 deployment to Afghanistan.
