I built, or attempted to build, a retaining wall across the back of our property before I left on deployment. It had a few structural defects, and it has been in a state of repair and renovation for the last few weeks.

"Filatore" was originally created as a way to track the adventures of an Italian deployment back in 2006 (Filatore=Spinner in Italian). Since then, it's morphed a few times, and after a period of relative dormancy, will document our urban existence over the next year.
